Dynamics and Possibilities of Gradation

Dynamics and Possibilities of Gradation
For me every picture in the magazine or elsewhere responds or does something to me. I collect the images which moves me.  Its to do with my and others aesthetics and social values. Images which I like, has something to do with my knowledge of art and connection to elements of art. Finding out meaning, metaphor and social values interests me.
‘I should like whatever I do and I should do what ever I like’ this was told by Luice Gracia when he came to Pathways School Noida for annual sports meet. Being in the competition leads to distraction of focus.
I spend time with images, admires its expressions and questions the creation of GOD.
While creating an art work, I constantly respond to its volume and gradations. The shapes and volumes on the faces or the effect is the way I see the images. For me the finding out tones, possibilities with the medium interests me a lot, distortion resulting to my manipulation in response to the light and shade leads to some effective expression in my work.
Light plays an important role in the process of my surface rendering and texture application. One line to parallel lines, one stroke to cross hatching, soft line to hard line, and creating small path to large gradation makes it all in my painting and drawing process.
I start with image’s particular feature and moves on towards rest of the area. It is essential for me to respond to the surface rendering than the images response. The possibilities and dynamics of gradation and distortion play a significant role in the process. Phenomenon of the work is based on the interest and intensity of the artistic temperament during the process of creation.

My Aesthetics and Values
“Every stroke leads to my aesthetic expression”
When I practice art invariable light plays an important role. Finding out the light and shade in the photograph and trying to see more in detail which is not there has become my way of seeing. Understanding the gradation, finding out the ambiguous areas, revealing the hidden areas plays an important role in my aesthetics development.
Exaggeration of facial features following the beauties of shapes and volumes creates a dimension and feelings. Cubism and tonal structure plays a significant role inspiring my sense of aesthetics. Discovering the tenderness, lines, structures, and gradations is a constant endeavor in my creative system.
What image is expressing and what am I constructing meaning out of it has been a constant effort for me with the images.  My critical reflection on art and its sensory – emotional value helps to understand visual taste. Judgment, relation and discoveries helps me to believe in creative values.
Colour plan is also complicated area to explore. Planning the hue and values of colour traps me often and it becomes difficult for me to make my colour palette.

Colour wheel and its theories help me to understand and apply it on the surface. Complimentary to family colours makes it easy with it expressive values.

What could be the flow chart of my creative thinking?
Requirement of the beauty in art has made a difficult choice for an artist in the 21st century.
Many more things to discover..
Creative thinking and journey is on…
